Morris dancing is only 20 minutes away.

How come there is a load of countryside in the middle of Oxford? Juanito and I had an amusing morning getting lost in the wilderness… taking a route out of the parks that I’d never been down before, we ended up tramping across loads of fields and down footpaths until we were sure we must have left Oxford miles ago and be in the countryside approaching a small village. But when we got there, we found it was Headington. Then we looked like right wallies walking in circles around a housing estate til we worked out how to get back (okay, Jonny worked it out). But it is really villagey just the other side of the parks – the New Marston (South) Residents Association, apart from lacking apostrophes, had a notice board advertising beaver scouts, a coffee morning, and a morris dancing club – all welcome! haha! And all this within the ringroad.

Ta Jonny for making me chill out this weekend, had been getting worried about things I have very little control over (Peru, project, etc) but you know, "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Arrrmen. Get a grip. ;o)
